What is LQMK?
LQMK stands for Less Questions. More Kindness. We create clothing that can say something when words are difficult — for the wearer and for the people standing beside them.
Who are the sweatshirts for?
Our designs are for children and adults. Some messages also have a parent/carer version so the person supporting someone can help communicate what is needed without increasing pressure on the wearer.
What messages are available?
Our first range includes three colour-coded messages: red for Less Questions. More Kindness., turquoise for overwhelmed / please give me space, and lilac for processing / please give me time.
Are LQMK sweatshirts sensory-friendly?
We prefer to say our sweatshirts are chosen with sensory comfort in mind. They are soft and fleece-lined, with a relaxed, easy fit that allows movement and layering. Sensory preferences are individual, so we would never promise that one garment will feel right for everyone.
What sweatshirt do you use?
Our current range uses the Gildan Heavy Blend 18000 crewneck sweatshirt. We chose it for its soft brushed interior, practical weight, relaxed fit and everyday comfort.
How are the designs made?
The black elements are finished in soft-touch flock vinyl, while the coloured heart uses puff vinyl for a small raised detail. Each sweatshirt is hand-finished with an LQMK cotton neck label and packed carefully.
How do I choose wearer or parent/carer wording?
Where both versions are available, you can choose who the message is for directly on the product page before selecting the size.
Are the sweatshirts made to order?
Most LQMK sweatshirts are prepared and hand-finished to order. This helps us keep the range simple and reduce unnecessary stock while we grow.
